No. HABBL uses the built-in camera of a smartphone or tablet for barcode scanning and photo documentation. This saves high investment costs for dedicated scanner hardware.
Security is the top priority. All data transmissions are encrypted. Data is stored in compliance with the GDPR. In addition, the capture of GPS data and timestamps ensures an audit-proof record that can also serve as evidence in court.
Absolutely. That’s one of its biggest strengths. Because the app is intuitive and runs on personal devices (BYOD), you can integrate external partners into your digital chain within minutes. The subcontractor downloads the app, receives their login credentials, and can start working in your process immediately.
